TOP H&M PICKS
Going into a store knowing what you're looking for is always easier than browsing around the shop without knowing what you want.I went onto the H&M on-line store and put together a polyvore of a few items that caught my eye.Im definitely into aztec prints once again and am trying to incorporate a little more colour into my wardrobe. The last couple of months have been so dreary that i havnt been wearing alot other than black, greys, khaki and navy .oops.These are all currently online now!!!I included the bed set just because its extremely classy!(Eggshell green is also my favorite colour)

cross body bags
I have gotten back into cross-body bags due to the simplicity and basic look it gives to my outfit. I've been wearing my old Turkish cross body bag a lot more than usual recently and ive realised i must hunt down for another which has more space. After searching for quite a while i found a few that i thought id share with the readers and you could all tell me what you think!

Texture
I wear a headscarf. Its more fun than you may think however as mixing things up,styling it and matching it with you're outfit makes the headscarf not just a symbol of being a Muslim but also a lovely piece to experiment with for different looks. For me, ive learnt so much along the years of wearing the headscarf from what colours look nicer on me and which don't .I've also learnt which textures of he hijab can feel and sit nicely on my head according to the styles i like to wear.It all just makes the hijab more exciting to wear than it already is..First and foremost yes,it is something with a meaning and essentially, the headscarf is something that goes on your head.Something that frames your face... that's why textures make all the difference.....
1-cotton 2-jersey 3-silk 4-cashmere 5-pashmina 6-viscose
cotton varies. There are so many scarves which have either a cotton mix, or just plain cotton.I find that cotton mix hijabs are easier to fold and layer with whereas the plain cotton is thinner and trickier to wrap with. However plain cotton is extremely soft for a simple hijab style.
Jersey is one of my favourites. I love how easily they can create folds and drapes. They are definitely becoming more of a popular thing in many stores right now.I own a nude one for those days when you cannot decide what hijab to wear!
silk .You've got to admit its a tricky one to play with.It slips and is fiddly.Pinning them is a mission as you don't want to tear or pull the thread but it is honestly one of the most beautiful materials to use as a neck scarf. They also are becoming popular with long rectangular hijabs in Turkey where they can be used to create a simple wrap around hijab style.I do like to wear them sometimes on special occasions as it is more of a luxury material.
cashmere is also a tricky one.Again i would prefer wearing them around my neck during the winter as one of its well known properties are luxurious warmth and softness. It can be really hard to wear due to how thick most cashmere scarf's come as but thinner ones could add a soft touch.I do not own a real cashmere scarf but i think every girl just wants one as part of their collection due to how special it is to have one.
pashmina...i think everyone owns one of them weather you're a hijabi or not.It isn't exactly a material as its a type of fine cashmere wool with other mixes but its so popular i thought id include it. They are extremely simple, come in many sizes and varies in thickness.I cannot say anything bad about them apart from the fact that the tassels can annoy me sometimes and the thin ones can look flat on your head :)
Viscose! Most hijabs are now being made of viscose and they are truly wonderful for an easy wrap around. They can create volume, flair and come in almost every colour size and pattern now due to how nice they sit on the head.I prefer the long maxi viscose hijabs as they give more coverage and a bit of volume.

whats you?
I dont know why but im starting to lean towards the likings of quirky and smart clothings. There so much out there on blogs and sites which show off the beautiful outfits but...the same looking outfits. So i will vow to try and make my looks seem a little more different and eccentric looking so a new fresh look is introduced into the world of blogging. Weather we admit it or not we love experimenting,we want to know what's going to happen so i want to see more quirkiness on blogs!I love the pennyloafers and mixed thread patterns on backpacks .I love seeing the geek glasses which ...arent really prescribed but that besides the point because its fashion now right?I also love the mixing of metals both gold and silver. Im in no way saying that lady gaga is the inspiration to being different(no way) as that is a little extreme but the way we present ourselves should have little touch of something different that makes people go...oh thats zahra...oh yeah that what she likeS to do.There are no rules to fashion so tell me what YOU like to do that's different and defines YOU?Im curious to find out!Send me pictures of you if you like..?Id like to know what you do that hasn't been influenced by anything or hasnt been copied.Retouching a trend is even a way of being different!

silver lilacs
I love this outfit! This blazer is quite zara-esq and i think the colour is perfect to go with most things. Its almost a lilac-silver colour and can change its 'hues' during day/night- basically i can wear it anywhere. I wasn't doing anything special when i wore this so i just paired it with simple jewellery. Of course,im a lover for Turkish bracelets so i wore this purple-y one i got a few years back!Tell me what you think ,i quite like the idea of neutrals with a bit of colour.

tea
So here i am procrastinating and writing up a little post for you.I have a hella a lot to learn for this week and i guess i am just way too stressed out to be feeling like a i can blog whenever i like..just like the old times. Ive sure been reading blogs now and then but of course it take longer to make a post .I feel awful for not blogging as much because i know so many of you read it and ...i guess its not fair.Sipping on every type of tea that exists in this world whilst trying to excel in work is really just making me feel like there's nothing else in this world except for studying and i hate that. How do these student bloggers post every week!It really does make me wonder...Anyway please to check my tumblr out and im sure i can have a lovely 'chat' with you on there or a virtual photo sharing conversation because its a lot easier clicking a button to reblog .

Ive found myself
becoming a little more minimalistic during the autumn season.
Ive just been sticking to key pieces and its been a lot more
simpler.I love this jacket and it has become one of
my favourites for the past two months.I paired
this ensemble with this necklace i hardly wear
and received so many compliments!Imanbey got me into the
statement necklaces as she always pairs them beautifully with her hijab,so
thankyou imanebey....

EMMA STONE-BEST DRESSED 2012 VOGUE
![]() |
Vogue has just announced that Emma Stone was this years best dressed! She was featured as Vogue's cover girl for 2012's best dress woman of this year.I certainly think she deserved it and finally fashion has been judged for what it really is!I trust Vogue's every decision on what class is and their outlook on what a lady should look like is certainly the very best. Her beauty shines through and her style is certainly one to look up to .Tell me what you think of Vogues decision and make sure to read more here...

colder months
Its getting colder and since layering has become a huge fascination of mine i have been doing it a lot lately :) whenever i think layering-i think grampa shirts with granny jumpers and chunky necklaces that all the hip girls like to wear nowadays.I also think baggy and boringly cool :) I didn't go that far and wear the various sized metal necklaces since my brain has weird ideas of what layering is but i did pair by 'smart' bazer with a warm berry maroon jumper.Apart from suffering from the biploar weather where i live and having to take off the blazer now and then it looks lovely and many compliments were received. It also may seem so silly of me to love such a thing but THOSE silver zips please me.They please me bacasue ive been wearing too many items with metal hardware/jewellery that is gold!silver is a lot classier and little things like that are stupidly nice to me....

Shop
After a tiring week,it is satisfying to have a mellow weekend with a few friends and possibly sit back and watch a movie. That is exactly what was achieved today.I met up with a few girls and we just had fun.You know when you just haven't seen them in a while( a few days) and want to catch up and relax, that is what happened and im glad.I also watched The Hunger Games finally-well not all of it and I'm not sure why but i wasn't overly impressed according to how raved it was.Without doubt i prefer the book so far, but my opinion may change!
I wanted to show a few items that i purchased just because I'm so keen on it all.I ador' the lipstick and had been contemplating as to weather i should buy it or not .I gave in purely because it was the perfect nude for my skin tone and it had a lovely feel and look to it.Ever so Eu Du natural.I also hadn't bought a satisfying makeup product in a while.
The shoes was a sheer necessity-i assure you.It looked very Topshop / Zara esqe and it was not too expensive which was most definitely to my advantage. The patchwork pattern gave a little more of an expensive feel to it which always comes to my interest when shopping at a bargain price.I was also tired of my cream and black pair that were literally ripping , fraying and getting dirty as I walked so this pleased me.I have a thing for penny loafers and dont tell anyone i said this, but it was ever since i watched Nancy Drew.

not too pink....
Its scrapbook style time!(I quite cleverly just made this up but not really as Ive been doing a few of these cut out posts recently so i will go on!)
Each time i go into my nearest shopping centre,i am always ready for a new outlook on fashion.Styling may be something i truly admire but looking at fashion is a much anticipated subject which tests our passion with it.Living in an area without the likes of zara or urban outfitters makes it notably harder for me to just 'look' or admire the seasons peices in there which I'm sure are full with summery scarves. However, i make do and put up with what i have - and so primark were stocking up some satisfying scarves .I adore this peice just because of how well it compliments me.I am a sweet perfectionist who needs the material and size just right in a scarf and although this may not be 'the one', it surely is great for the summery days. Not hot pink or too light to dull my slightly tanned skin but perfect for my different complexion....
My ring is such a favourite of mine since visiting turkey(which im planning to do a post on) that was purchased at the Grand Bazaar. It was not too expensive due to my mums excellent haggling skills and will remain a cult love of mine forever.I love getting small everyday items as making them versatile is easy and wearing them is not hard? However i still do like to keep those special jewellery items for special days only just like every other girl does.My bracelets is from poisewithjoys which i will also be doing a post on due to her most scrumptious items!
doing the 'Kate Middleton'
If your a regular reader of my blog ,then you'd probably know about a previous post where i wore a similar outfit .Improvements? lots! The picture quality is much better and ive already gotten used to the new camera.Photography is a big passion of mine,so i keep snapping away until i run out of things to photograph .....Due to this passion of mines and a friend,we have an exciting announcement to make very soon.
I've also started studying again and its been positive so far.I started a new place and its great!I tend to keep things simple in terms of what I wear but if I wear anything i think you'd like ill be sure to share :)

is it just me or...
I was scrolling through tumblr for some inspiration on what to blog and i came across this picture...
I was already trying to find a suitable case to store stationary since studying is kind of going to become my priority again in a few days and there's no way I'm letting all those pens and highlighters fly around everywhere and getting lost again.I had already found one in a store at my mall but once i saw this i kinda freaked. Is it just me or isn't this just..so..beautiful?I'm so weird. Its just a makeup bag(which could be used as a pencil case okay)but that damn tumblr has me again.Once i saw the image i quickly went on a hunt on line to find it and within five minutes i actually found it on Topshop online !I'm not normally like this i promise! It is eight pounds but it actually looks like it would last so this zip better not brake if i do go ahead and buy it.What do you think though? It has me loving it but that other one just may do...
Simpleyyyyyyyyy lovely
Am i becoming a stationary fanatic again?Oh please no.

eid outfit 2012
The long awaited post-thats nearly two weeks late.My weakness hits me again.I really hope you don't mind, after all this post MAY keep the eid spirit lasting longer,or not.I had such a chilled out but wonderful eid this year.We got to see all our family in a matter of one day,and go out to eid prayer which was organised wonderfully.I ended up wearing a beautiful fushia/purple abaya with bits of black and i adore it.I paired it with a few random accessories but changed them constantly being the indecisive person that i am.Theres something about wearing an an abaya that keeping you feeling modest but quite ladylike if wearing them in the right way.I don't let wearing an abaya stop me from expressing my style as after all,i am still a woman who loves jewellery ,and bags....and shoes...
I also asked you girls on instagram to send me a picture of what you were wearing on eid and it is still open!Who says its too late to show off you pictures of what you wore on eid?I dont! Tag me on you picture and #eidoutfit2012 ...
